Lionheart Interiors offer one-off decorative antiques to discerning private buyers, collectors, and interior decorators, with emphasis on decorative British, European, Colonial, and Middle Eastern furniture, also vintage pieces with character, stylish mid-century furniture and mirrors, in particular pieces that can add a decorative statement. We also have a selection of "country house" furniture made by quality cabinet makers such as Gillows, Holland & Sons, Howard & Sons, etc. Our pieces look good in town or country, in complete period settings, or as elements or accents in contemporary spaces. Antiques by defintion are old and show wear and age, this sense of history along with the unique designs and craftsmanship is part of the appeal. We only sell antique items that are in good useable condition. All items will have gone though our workshop for a thorough check, with any necessary restoration already undertaken. Should you wish to buy from us, your purchase will be fit for purpose, unless otherwise stated.

Should you have a piece of furniture in need of some TLC, we also offer an in-house furniture restoration service. As BAFRA recognised restorers with over 28 years experience in the trade, we understand sympathetic restoration is key, and use only traditional methods and authentic materials. Our principle restorer was trained by mentor "Alfred Fry", (BAFRA's once leading expert in the field of antique restoration); who's career began in the early 1940's with a 7 year apprenticeship at Maples & Co. London, under the strict watch of the 'head' of the french polishing department; (his father)!

In Alfred's semi retirement, he formed "The Midlands School Of French Polishing," where he passed on his amazing knowledge of 'how to do' this art-form properly, confirming that these methods, recipes and skills; (unchanged since Victorian times), cannot be successfully aquired from a book, or a YouTube tutorial!
